Recall Apocalypse 13:1 & 3 "And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.... And I saw one of his heads as it were slain to death: and his death's wound was healed. And all the earth was in admiration after the beast."
There are a number of interpretations of these messages from Scripture. After some reading and contemplation of the matter, I wish to give my two cents worth.
I suggest that the "seven heads" pertain to seven weak/ bad popes since Vatican II. We already have had six of them in anti-popes John XXIII, Paul VI and heretics/ weak popes in John Paul I, John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Finally, we have another anti-pope in Francis (Bergoglio). That is six. I forecast that there will be a seventh right after Bergoglio to complete the destruction of the institution called the Roman Catholic Church.
Regarding the reference of "one of his heads as it were slain to death: and his death wound healed." I believe that this refers to John Paul II. We all know about May 13, 1981 and the attempted assassination of JP II at St. Peter's Square. But very few know that there was a second unsuccessful attempt to kill JPII at Fatima on May 12, 1982 by a Spanish priest who shot him. Also, few people are aware that the bullet that struck him at St. Peter's Square contained poison that doctor claimed should by itself have killed him. He survived all this. Why?

The 3rd Secret contains the message, "In the kingdom of John Paul II the cornerstone of Peter’s tomb will be removed and transferred to Fatima.” This was completed by John Paul II on March 9, 2004.
All these leaders of the Roman Catholic Church promoted Progressivism and beginning with JPII Pan-religion which is coming to its fulfillment with the Synodality that will be completed this Fall.
Lest we forget, JP II initiated the inter-religious and blasphemous event at Assisi. He also proclaimed many heresies that included:
Universal salvation for all men
Heaven, Hell and Purgatory are not places but state of the soul
Muslims and Catholics have the same God
Non-Catholics can receive Holy Communion
Promoted the "False" Third Secret
And carried the satanic, repulsive "broken cross" designed by satanists in the 6th century that anti-pope Paul VI reintroduced.
All of the above (and more) reinforces the truth and fulfillment of Catholic Prophecies; particularly La Salette ("Rome will lose the Faith") and the Third Secret of Fatima.
Recall again from Apocalypse 18: 4-5, the message we devout Roman Catholics should take to heart in these troubling times. "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: Go out from her, my people; that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and the Lord hath remembered her iniquities."
A devout Catholic can only conclude that the "Chastisement" for these "End Times" is fully realized. Schism, starvation, pestilence, disease and world wars follow. Our beloved Church is experiencing its "Passion". We, the Faithful Remnant" need to listen to the BVM and seek the traditional Latin Mass, underground if necessary, and otherwise say the Holy Rosary daily (15 Decades) and plead for Divine Mercy for ourselves and our loved ones. And await with patience and fortitude the Warning and Miracle. If mankind does not respond to these two heavenly Graces, a vast majority will die and got to hell for eternity.
